| 形態特徵： |
體細長而前部呈圓柱狀，後方側扁；眼小而位於頭前部背緣，眼間隔狹窄；吻短而吻端鈍圓；口裂小而開於吻端下緣，成水平位；兩頷具齒帶，外列齒較大，下頷側具弱犬齒；舌端呈截形；左右鰓膜附著於喉部；胸鰭上方軟條游離；左右腹鰭連合成吸盤。(2019/06/13) |
| 棲所生態： |
主要生活在珊瑚礁附近的礁沙底質混合區，偶而出現在河口附近的海域；肉食性，以小型底棲無脊椎動物為食。 |

印度-太平洋海域，包括台灣東部、北部、南部、澎湖、小琉球、蘭嶼、綠島等海域。 |
