Character:

A moderately stout dark moray with distinctive white to yellow spots and polygons on head, body and fins; anus behind mid-body, PA 1.75-1.91 in TL; head 6.46-8.04 in TL, and depth 10.2-16.1 in TL; teeth blunt and molariform, uniserial on upper jaw, triserial to biserial on lower jaw, and elongate patch of triserial to uniserial teeth on vomer; MVF 5-55-115.
